Predicted view of the Waddi Wind Farm looking south-west from Mungedar Road
This website has been set up to be an ongoing source of information for the community and other stakeholders about the proposed Dandaragan Wind Farms. It will be updated with key documents, findings and images as they become available.
The Dandaragan Wind Farms will consist of up to 151 x 2.1-3.4MW turbines which would result in a maximum total installed capacity of 513.4 MW. Each year these turbines would generate as much electricity as is used by approximately 305,000 Western Australian homes. Thousands of tonnes of carbon dioxide would be offset by replacing electricity generated via conventional, fossil fuel burning power stations. Further details of the electricity production and carbon dioxide offset can be found on our 'Facts & Figures' page.
